Weekend at the Park!

We had such great weather this past week so we enjoyed taking Garrison to the park this weekend. We went on Saturday after breakfast and then on Sunday we met Jon's family at the park for a church picnic. Garrison liked the swings the best!

Garrison is taking a few steps!

Garrison has been taking a few steps here and there. Saturday night was the first time he took a lot of steps all on his own. You can check out the video of him walking!

Saturday night fun with the family!

We went over to Nana and Pop's house for dinner last night. April, Caden and Dalton were there so Garrison enjoyed playing with the boys. He doesn't get to be around them very often since they are usually in Houston with John so he enjoyed playing with his cousins!

Time to brush your teeth!

This was Garrison's first time to use a toothbrush instead of the finger toothbrush I used to brush his teeth. I think he liked the fruity tooth gel more than anything. We are going to try to keep his pretty 8 teeth clean!

Labor Day

We went out to Nana and Pop's ranch for the day and we had a great time. Garrison loved the cows, goats and ducks! I think we wore him out, he didn't last long on the tractor ride with Pop! It was a fun day and we enjoyed our day off!

Garrison's Party!

We had a great day celebrating Garrison's first birthday! Garrison really liked when everyone stood around and sang happy birthday to him. He loves music so he really liked everyone singing to him!

His aunt Leigh (Jon's sister) made the cake and cupcakes! They were yummy! Thank you Aunt Leigh! We had such a fun party...we went swimming, had hamburgers and hot dogs and had fun with everyone that came! Thank you for a great party and for all the wonderful gifts! Thank you Nana and Pop for having the party at your house...it was so much fun!

Garrison turns ONE!

The day started out great, we went over to Nana and Pop's house to get everything ready for the party and Garrison got to ride in his new carseat. I was so excited to be able to turn him around. He reached the weight limit a long time ago but he had to wait until he was a year old! Even though the trip was short over to Nana and Pops he loved looking out the window and sitting up so big in his new seat.
